About CCMI SEA

CCMI is the lead resource for coaches and mentors in the world. As a network of affiliated coaching and mentoring organisations we offer a range of programmes, courses and workshops that are delivered in the UK and worldwide. With Professor David Clutterbuck providing the framework for all these programmes, we have over 45 years of research and practical experience brought to you through a series of blogs, webinars and briefings.

Professor David Clutterbuck

David is one of the pioneers and foremost global authorities in Coaching and Mentoring. He introduced supported mentoring to Europe in early 1980s and also 360-degree feedback, which he discovered in Russia whilst travelling the globe reporting on good practice in management.

An author of over 80 books on coaching, mentoring, leadership and management, he also co-founded the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (he is now Special Ambassador for the EMCC) in addition to being Visiting professor, Henley Business School (Reading University) Sheffield Hallam, Oxford Brookes and York St John Universities.

A serial entrepreneur, he currently leads Coaching Mentoring International (CCMI), a global network of coaching and mentoring experts and trainers. David’s other interests include chairing the research committee of the London School of Comedy, exploring social and well-being impacts of laughter (and has trained as a stand-up comedian), lead coach for WBECS African Ethical Coaching Council, working with learning and socially disabled children and adults to promote social inclusion and is heavily involved in trying to deploy a school mentoring programme (for teachers and the kids) to schools across the World.

Outside of the office, David enjoys being a grandad and children’s author, travelling extensively (sometimes as a travel correspondent) and challenging himself to learn a new sport or activity every year.

Eadren Tan

Eadren Tan leads Clutterbuck Coaching & Mentoring International in South East Asia (CCMI SEA) with a deep respect for the human side of leadership and learning. Since her time as a Founding Council Member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council for the Asia-Pacific Region, Eadren and Professor David Clutterbuck have been working together to promote the gold standard in mentoring and coaching. Her work is shaped by a simple but demanding belief: that mentoring and coaching matter most when they are practised with integrity, humility, and a genuine commitment to people’s growth.

Over the years, Eadren has worked globally alongside leaders, HR professionals, and practitioners who care about doing this work well – not quickly, not superficially, but in ways that build trust, sound judgement, and long-term capability. She is known for bringing both warmth and clarity into complex conversations, helping individuals and organisations think more deeply about how learning, responsibility, and relationships truly develop.

Eadren’s approach reflects the values that sit at the heart of CCMI globally: evidence-informed practice, ethical responsibility, and learning that is grounded in real organisational life. She is particularly attentive to context, recognising that effective mentoring and coaching in the Asia-Pacific and Middle-East region must honour cultural nuance, lived experience, and the realities leaders face on the ground.

In her role with CCMI SEA, Eadren focuses on cultivating partnerships rather than transactions. She works closely with organisations to embed mentoring and coaching as enduring capabilities, supporting maturity, reflective practice, and leadership that is sustainable over time.

Alongside Professor David Clutterbuck and the CCMI UK team, Eadren ensures that the standards and philosophy that define CCMI internationally are upheld, while being thoughtfully translated for the region.
